If you read nothing else listed on this page, please take the time to read this. K-9 Angels webmaster feels that everyone should take this to heart. I (webmaster) just heard a story that broke my heart regarding this issue. Luckily, the dog is alive, but does need some costly surgery. If this saves one dogs life I will be thankful.
Here is another great link. We recently had to deal with this in our home (webmaster) and the person I dealt with from the Department of Health here in PA could not have been nicer. All is well and the wound healed nicely. There is lots of safety information of all types, not just K-9.
