Many pet owners are reluctant to have their pets spayed or neutered because of the high cost, but here is a link that will help if you have a vet in your area who will accept their certificates. www.friendsofanimals.org
You will need to type in your zip code and they will send you a list of the veterinarians in your area. The cost is very reasonable. Please make sure you have received your certificate before making the appointment for your pet.
If you are in the Boyertown area, Dr. Shreves at Pottsgrove Animal Hospital accepts them. I wish more vets would, the animal overpopulation problem is staggering and I commend Dr. Shreves for being involved in this program.
